The night we tasted this wine we were also tasting another Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine came second, and needless to say was very different from the first Cabernet Sauvignon we tried. After reading the bottle description, "underscored with a refined whisper of menthol," you can really taste the minty flavor in the wine. If I had to pin down the flavor specifically, it reminded me of the smell inside of a cave - very earthy and mineraly - but in a good way!
