I tasted this at a private tasting and was the lucky one that got to take the rest of the bottle home. Day 1 post opening, both the nose and taste was very vanilla. Actually drank some with steak, roasted veggies and rosemary potatoes, and it was absolutely fabulous!!! I never would have guess it would go so well with a meal that usually gets reds. Day 2 the nose was still vanilla, and now the butteriness came out. It was better Day 2. Day 3, it still held up, and seemed to be even better than each day before. I wish I had more, as I am sure it would have been more wonderful each day.
