Much better at room temperature than chilled.

"Bodega Don Cristóbal is an acclaimed family winery based in the premium Mendoza sub-region of Luján de Cuyo. They're famous for producing innovative, world-class wines at refreshingly affordable prices. And this new arrival – an exclusive they crafted just for us – might be their most mouthwatering release yet. It's 100% fruit-filled Malbec made in a crisp rosé style that's ideal for warm-weather sipping.

To craft this fine pink, the Don Cristóbal team hand harvested perfectly ripe Malbec from vineyards high up in the Andes – at some 2,000 feet above sea level. After carefully sorting and delicately pressing the grapes, they left the juice in contact with the skins for just a few hours (creating the striking color of the final wine). The wine was then cool-fermented to lock in all of its lovely, fresh flavors.

In the glass, look forward to intense aromas and flavors of cherry, red currant, strawberry, rose petals and even watermelon. It has the body, fruit and 'oomph' that red Malbec fans know and love – plus the freshness and versatility of a world-class rosé. Great as an aperitif, La Pinta will also stand up to a wide range of foods, from your favorite salads to chicken satay." - Zagat Wine
