Color: Darker ruby in the core with brighter ruby edges.

Nose: Great bright fruit here, of cherry and red currants, with flinty minerality, light toast, and light dusty earth.

Palate: Very good feel to complement the medium to full body of this wine. It shows off that very bright and flinty red fruit that I'm coming to love from this Coombsville new AVA from the Napa Valley. It also has some good anise just starting to come through, along with the integrating toast, and fine tannin structure. Good, needs a bit more age before opening.
