Color: Medium to darker ruby in the core, with more violet and garnet edges.

Nose: Wet earth and deep, ripe black cherry here, with a bit of sweeter toast, and some flint and savory new leather for balance.

Palate: Medium-bodied, this shows off the silkier, lighter tannin expected of a Merlot dominated wine. Some chalky feel comes in with the garden herbs and dark black cherry savory and fruity notes. The fruit sweetens out in the juicier finish, where the leather and some fine tannin come in. Amazingly good for only $10: QPRWK.
