Color: Dark and almost opaque, this shows a mix of violet and garnet overtones.

Nose: Big on the nose, this shows deep red and blue plums, ripe black cherry, white pepper, and hotness, as well.

Palate: Very full and weighty, this has that same dark, ripe fruit that was found in the nose, but a lot a more of the good white pepper and some savory bramble. The heat from the alcohol shows, however, but medium acidity, toast, and light tannin try to balance it out.
