Color: Deep ruby and dark violet core, with medium violet edges.

Nose: Bright black and blue fruit here, with depth and complexity. A bit of new leather is in here as well, with violet florals, and even a bit of black cherry to go with the toast and flint.

Palate: Smooth and big, but still within the balance of the deep fruit complexity found in the nose. The tannins are firm but still pretty fine, with good savory earthy and charred meat starting to come out in the toasted finish. Very good: NewWorldWK.
