Inky black, with lots of fruit on the nose while pouring. Excellent start to finish.

"All of Terra Andina’s wines are worthy of recommendation.”(The Wine Advocate)

Cabernet is Chile’s No. 1 red, prized for its pure black fruit intensity. And some of the finest are made in the Maipo Valley. This barrel-aged Gran Reserva comes from star winemaker Oscar Salas, and pays tribute to Bernardo O’Higgins, Chile’s first Head of State and celebrated War of Independence hero.

Made with 100% estate-grown Maipo Valley fruit, the previous vintage took home accolades from the 2011 International Wine and Spirits Competition. Wait until you taste his 2009, brimming with the same black-fruited, vanilla-oaky complexity.
Aromas of black fruit, vanilla and cloves. Great depth of ripe blackberry. L-o-n-g finish. Smooth enough to enjoy on its own (as a toast to freedom) or great with steak. - Zagat Wine
