Color: dark garnet and ruby core, with medium ruby edges.

Nose: Jammier blackberry fruit here in the nose, big and bolder, with some sweeter toast and just a hint of the earthiness that lies below.

Palate: Very good, with much more of a balanced fruit/savory palate than to be expected from the nose. Savory earth, leather and loam mix with the deep black and red ripe fruit, with medium acidity and very soft tannins to add to the smooth mouthfeel.
