Color: Dark ruby/garnet with dark garnet edges

Nose: Full with deep dark wet earth and virtually all black fruit, and though ripe, is not jammy and adds to the slate minerality.

Palate: Full and big grip, but still silken, this is a gorgeous wine. Perfect acidity to complement the brooding fruit of cassis, blackberry and currants. This is matched by the pencil lead, anise and black cherry finish. Outstanding mouthfeel as well.
