    Color: Darker garnet

Nose: Big toast and oak here, then the mainly red fruit with young black fruit poking through comes into the nose, and a bit of wet earth.

Palate: Full and not as oaky as expected from the nose. Good acidity for food (not surprising from a culinary school!) and with integrating tannins. Deep fruit of red and black varieties, a Bing cherry finish. Made at and by Markham Vineyards.
