Color: Gold with a very fine bead and good mousse, light pink highlights.

Nose: As expected from this venerated domestic bubbly house, outstanding complexity on the nose. Juicy, bright red fruit, followed by even citrus aromas and a vanilla toast underlay.

Palate: Just as good as the nose, with the red fruit, very good acidity and mouthfeel. The citrus kicks in towards the mid-palate and into the finish, which has crème brûlée, juicy cherry and some toast to complete the medley. Very good.
