Color: Deep ruby core, with medium ruby edges and garnet lowlights.

Nose: Fantastic and still quite young, with cassis, lightest toast, earth, fresh anise and cool eucalyptus. Red and black fruit mingle by the rim.

Palate: Also fantastic and one of the best wines I've had in months. All of that black and red fruit from the nose is also found here, with a coolness to it, outstanding fruit and soft and very fine tannins. Food-loving acidity abounds making the wine fresh and ageable, and that anise comes in at the finish, alongside a hint of earth and tobacco. Extremely good: AwesomeWK.
