Twisted Oak Calaveras County The Spaniard 2007
Region: Calaveras County, California
Winery: Twisted Oak Winery
Variety: Tempranillo, Graciano, Grenache
Color: Inky violet and garnet
Nose & Palate: Better balance here than prior when so young. Good dark meaty fruit here nose and palate with integrating mouthfeel showing great promise with big but knitted tannin, but still 2-3 yrs yet to go. Very good.

Color: Medium ruby
Nose: Fruit is closed by great earth and dried cigar with some charred meat
Palate: Earth with game, charred black fruit, great acid and big round tannins into the long and intense black fruited finish. Good: OldWorldWK
