Color: Dark garnet, with slight burnt sienna edges

Nose: Quite good many times, but I've found it to be inconsistent. When good it has great earth, cocoa, blackberry cassis, anise and black cherry. When not so good, I find Brett.

Palate: Also inconsistent between bottles, this when good has the same fruit balance and complexity as the nose, surrounded by silky tannins and great acid. When bad, the Brett and sometimes cork taint shroud these wonderful qualities.
