Color: Deep garnet with even some violet highlights.

Nose: Very rich and dusty, as expected from this fine producer. Great dusty black cherry with fresh, savory herbs underneath and some anise lurking in the dark, oak back end.

Palate: Fine and full, this is very young but shows the promise of balance that I always look for in this producer. Great dusty tannins here that impart a good chalky mouthfeel, black and red fruit here of mainly black cherry, wrapped in smoky oak and finishing with cassis, dark black cherry and anise. Very good!
