Chateau Cap de Merle is a family owned estate located in the appellation Lussac-Saint-Emilion. The vineyard is an average of 25 years old and is situated on silty and sandy soils. The grapes are generally harvested at the end of september. Made of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc, Chateau Cap de Merle is a great wine of excellent value, matching very well with red meat, game and all cheeses.
