As someone new to the world of red wines, I was hesitant, but this was pleasant. Pretty translucent red color, medium bodied, and went well with pork. Spicy and a great red for a newbie. Not something I could drink by itself for pleasure since I like sweeter whites but definitely went great with food.

I was surprise at this lost cost wine. It was light-medium bodied with a bit of spice. It did go great with pork. I wish it had a bit more body but for $6 one can't complain.
