Crisp, fruity, medium dry, grapefruit and nectarine

Color: Lightest yellow

Nose: Good crisp tropical fruit, but not nearly as much gooseberry, grassiness and tartness as past years.

Palate: Somewhat more of a bland version of this wine this year, a marked departure from past vintages. This is more of a Cali Sauv Blanc, with tropical fruit, some slight minerality and relatively crisp, but not racy with no gooseberry nor overt grassiness.

Not quite as good as the 2007, but still an excellent representation of NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Fruity with, in my opinion, green apple at the end. Refreshing.
