James David Cellars Paso Robles Penman Springs Vineyard Muscat Blanc 2007
Region: Paso Robles, California
Winery: James David Cellars
Color: Very light straw
Nose: HUGE bouquet of green apples with some heavy floral components of lavender and citrus fruit blossoms
Palate: Very full-bodied, with some nice acidity, not necessarily racy but nicely there. Floral lavender and heavier floral aromas come out on top of the palate and hang out above the wine in your mouth. Finish takes the white fruit flavors and almost a sense of hoppiness. Finishes with a slight chalky feel and some great minerality. Lovely.

Color: lighter golden straw
Nose: Big bouquet still, but now of huge juicy peach and peach citrus blossoms.
Palate: Quite good and full-bodied with acidity that is more prevalent now. The peach, pear, citrus and lemon come in the mid-palate with the long crisp finish being more dominated by a lemon-cream and those same peach blossoms. Good!
