Paso Creek Paso Robles Estate Zinfandel 2006

Users Who Logged This Wine

Color: Ruby red with some garnet flecks

Nose: Great balance, dusty red fruit that still has brightness, with some blue underneath and some pepper

Palate: Also quite good and shows balance and restrained power for this varietal. All of the aromas from the nose come to play here, with some cherry in the finish.

Color: darker garnet with violet edges

Nose: Bramble, spice, some sage and rosemary and a lot of black cherry with some toast.

Palate: Good red fruit backed up by some blue and cherry. toasty oak surrounds the fruit and is still integrating, but good balance overall. Finishes with some pepper and bramble followed by some black cherry. Later, some rich blueberry comes out with a couple hours of decanting.
