Color: Dark violet/garnet, intense core and garnet edges.

Nose: Quite a large bouquet of wonderful rose petal, black cherry, wild blackberry and truffle, underneath.

Palate: Exceptional and with great quality for the money. Another win from the '05 vintage! This features a sensual mouthfeel that is quite full, with that great dusty, wild black fruit from the nose and a great black cherry finish. Earthiness comes out in the chalky mouthfeel from the fine tannins and is backed by great food-centric acidity.
