    Soft, smooth tannins, complemented by ripe red berry flavor. The Lemberger grape is native to Germany, Austria, and Hungary, and also goes by the name of Blaufrankish. It belongs in the Vinifera family, which includes the entire large group of grape that are native to the European continent, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, etc. This vintage displays aromas of plum and cherry.

    Awards by Vintage:

    * 2004: Silver Medal Winner 2006 New Jersey Wine Competition.

    Bronze Medal Winner in the 2006 Vineyard & Winery Management East Coast Competition.

    Bronze Medal Winner in the 2006 Riverside International Wine Competition.

    * 2002: Gold Medal in the 2003 NJ Wine Competition, and then came away with the title of "Best NJ Vinifera for 2003"
