Color: Dark garnet

Nose: Muted now, but very black fruit with anise in the background.

Palate: Quite good and not as tight as the nose. Great black fruit, coating tannins and nice mouthfeel with cassis and more anise in the finish with a slight red cherry and slight oak.

Not a typical big, heavy Cab that you would expect, but an easy drinking, light Cabarnet with a smooth finish.

The marketing of this wine is done expertly, as the packaging of this boxed wine has garnered alot of interest in the wine, and when the wine is inspected a little deeper, rewards those who give it a try.
