Very deep red color. Some blackberry and currant on the nose. There is minerality and earthiness but not overpowering. Some green, but characteristic of the grape. On the palate, smooth with some spice. The wine finishes long and sweet vanilla with more oak tannin than grape tannin. This I enjoyed the most, almost like tasting a cabernet lollypop.
