St. Clement Bale Lane Sauvignon Blanc 2006
Region: Napa Valley, California
Winery: St. Clement Vineyards
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Color: paler straw
Nose: Big juicy nose of grapefruit and super-bright citrus, with some softer apple and pineapple underneath. Some grass.
Palate: Very good and much better than the '06 which seemed kinda tired. That same fruit is on the very racy palate and finishes with some grassiness, almost taking a hint from NZ. Good stuff!
