Chateau St. Jean Sonoma County Reserve Merlot 2003

Variety: Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon
Color: Garnet
Nose: Huge red berry fruit and anise, then some lavender and finishing with intimidatingly deep and dark fruit underneath
Palate: Silky and velvety! Then some dark French roast coffee and 82% cacao dark chocolate. Black fruit and cassis with a round grip. Some great blue plums towards the end and a long balanced finish. Great stuff!
