Pope Valley Winery North Coast Zinfandel Port 2002
Region: North Coast, California
Winery: Pope Valley Winery
Variety: Zinfandel
Color: Darker garnet and ruby
Nose: Sweeter cherry and pepper with some blue fruit.
Palate: Not as sweet as anticipated, more of a sweeter normal port. This would be good, actually, with a pork dinner that had a sweeter cranberry sauce.
