N: Aromas of lemon custard and butterscotch, with more white tropical fruit and very slight underlying grassiness, but just barely

P: Tropical fruit, understated acidity and medium mouthfeel label this as a California Sauv Blanc, but the butterscotch and lemon custard in the finish and underlying creaminess do not appear very often in this varietal. I do like this unusual SB, but it might not be what one would anticipate from this varietal. It's almost as if there was a little Semillon blended in.
