Spicerack Vineyards Punchdown Sonoma Coast Syrah 2006

Color: Dark purple/garnet, purple edges
Nose: Yummy blue and black fruit with saddlesoap, some leather and white pepper. Very good.
Palate: Mouth filling and dry, this is a great Syrah! That blue and balck fruit is there, but wonderfully backed up by tannin and great food-inducing acidity. I really like it's long finish filled with more fruit, the black and white pepper and umami.
