Nose: Beautiful aromas of black fruit with a touch of red fruit, anise, even some tobacco. It's a bit closed still and aching for some age.

Palate: Tremendous complexity of black blue and red fruit but as the nose shows, is also a bit tight. The tannic structure and acidity more than stand up to the fruit to make this a balanced, young wine. Oak is also fitted in, but nicely in the background.
