Modus Operandi Napa Valley Rosé 2006
Region: Napa Valley, California
Winery: Modus Operandi Cellars
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier, Petite Sirah
Color: Prettiest pink.
Nose: Beautiful strawberry and cherry and other very bright red fruit, followed by notes of dried flowers.
Palate: A very, very good rose. Has the beautiful fruit that you get in the finish of a great Napa Cab, but with a brightness that belies its great acidity. Then the finish has a deeper and darker fruit to it and those dried flowers. Great stuff.
