Cherry Hill Poverty Road Pinot Gris 2006
Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Winery: Cherry Hill Poverty Road
Variety: Pinot Gris
This light delicate Pinot Gris is named after the road to our winery. This road has impoverished us as well as the persons who have exceeded the 14 mph speed limit. Traffic fines are excessive and allow us to produce this exquisite light wine at a nominal cost.
Poverty Road Pinot Gris is produced from purchased fruit in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. This light white wine is a starter wine, training wheels, a quencher of thirst for those travelling our long road and a rocking chair wine, all in one package. The fruit is sourced from nearby vineyards and is a whole cluster pressing. It is fermented in closed topped stainless steel fermenters and is not stored in oak.
