Nose: Tea and black fruit, especially blackberry, with oak underneath
Palate: Thinner than expected, medium-bodied and definitely elegant, but I think it's still just kind of thin. An understated wine that maybe just is too young. It would be interesting to let this set for a few years, but I'd be nervous that the fruit is just thin without the necessary tannin to allow it to mature further. Enjoyable, but surprising.
