From bottle: A complex nose with aromas of black cherry and raspberry, mixed with notes of earth and spice, leads into a smooth, soft wine. It will go well with duck, lamb, barbecued salmon, wild mushrooms, and black beans. 2600 cases were bottled in September 2007 after eight months in French Oak barrels. All the grapes were grown in the Northern Willamette Valley, Oregon's premier Pinot Noir region.
