We went back to this the second day... WOW! It opened up so beautifully. The lavender nose was huge, with some licorice and herb notes, big fruit: cherry, plum, and blackberry, with a pepper finish and beautiful tannins. I loved it.

Lavender notes on the nose, a little tar and big fruit but the fruit was more mature and less of the normally HUGE fruit in Pax's Syrahs. Pepper finish.
