Deep, extracted and mildly complex wine. Great nose with aromas of dark fruits, and spices. Tastes wonderful, lots of deep fruit concentration, (hits the mid-palate as well) with soft tannins that keep this wine in beautiful balance. This wine is priced so well that you really don't need a special occasion to enjoy it- I have enjoyed several vintages of this wine and all were "in the money". Have also shared this wine at parties and it is a real crowd pleaser.
