Orin Swift Napa Valley Papillon 2005
Region: Napa Valley, California
Winery: Orin Swift Cellars
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot
Color: Dark garnet
Nose: Smoky, but with great fruit depth of red and black, then some mint and licorice at the end.
Palate: Not quite integrated yet with the forward oak, but the fruit tannin acidity and mouthfeel is so good that you just know it's going to be great in 2-3 years.
