"#2; COLOR-dark; TASTE-the ripeness & freshness of this fruit is obnoxious; extraordinarily lengthy finish; the '04 Vintage is giving immense pleasure now and will for the next 5 to 10 years; some black fruit flavors (suggests excellent ripeness); slight earthiness (starting to see just a hint of truffle, black olive & black pepper - these are just beginning which suggests this is still a really young wine); really firm tannins on the back-end; nice subtle Oak; incredibly pleasurable wine; better than the Justin and Franciscan that I've just tasted and liked; hints of leather & tobacco just starting on the tail end; this wine will rip your face off in 3-5 years-and for only $17; RP-87; GV-91+''

"Judge Michel Querre, a prominent Bordeaux lawyer as well as the proprietor of Pomerol's Le Moulin estate, owns this garage operation in the Cotes de Castillon. A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the soft, round, expansive, richly fruity, spicy 2004 is best drunk during its first 5-6 years of life."
