    I bought this within the past year which was a treat b/c the wine does have a few extra years of bottle aging on it, which makes it a more interesting drink. Definitely shows more softness and sauve texture than a younger version might, with fewer primary fruit notes in the nose and mouth and more mature complexity overall. Excellent paired with a sophisticated dish that won't overpower the wine but will play up it's smoothness - my food and wine pairing recommendation on this one is beef wellington:
