Color: inky purple/garnet

Nose: The bouquet and aromas just leap from the glass, in a wonderful melánge of some saddle soap, tobacco, black fruit and dusty mountain tannin...it's almost difficult to describe the components are so deep and strong and so good.

Palate: Pure heaven caresses your mouth. What a phenomenal wine. Wonderful full mouth that coats the entire inside with tannins that don't mess around and yet want to just massage your palate. The fruit covers red and black and finishes a little more blue with mint and anise and then finish goes long enough to allow a walk around the entire ground floor of SF City Hall!
