Château Poujeaux Moulis-en-Médoc 1996
Region: Moulis-en-Médoc, Bordeaux, France
Winery: Château Poujeaux
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot
Color: dark-garnet, darker edges
Nose: Starts off hot, don't know the alcohol content, however. Dark fruit, but not much of that fruit. Gamey, maybe some brett, loamy, mushroom, celery and anise.
Palate: Gaminess with decent acidity, but a thin finish. Little fruit is left, but pops up a little alongside some citrus and and medium-body.
