From the Label: The 2004 Petite Sirah is bold and full bodied. The grapes are grown in rocky soils on a ridge known as Eagle's Nest high above the Cosumnes River. The vines struggle to survive in the rocky soil of Eagle's Nest. The result is a wine that is bold and full-bodied. Everything about this wine is intense: from its deep purple color to the flavors reminiscent of blueberries and blackberries.
