Chardonnay is one of the finest white wines, offering great versatility in style and flavor. This 2005 Tamayo Chardonnay was barrel fermented in French oak to not only capture the freshness of the fruit, but to enhance the texture on the palate as well. The Oak Knoll District in the Napa Valley has a moderate climate that is perfectly suited to growing luscious Chardonnay.
Vibrant aromas of fresh pear, honeydew melon and citrus fruit are framed by vanilla spice. On entry this Chardonnay is mouth filling with consistent flavors of pear and melon. At the finish, it brightens and cleanses the palate.
