Color: Lighter garnet

Nose: Decent fruit, but not as rich as past vintages. Prehaps a bit thin on the fruit, red and blue fruit.

Palate: Also thinner. Traditionally a great value wine but not as good this year unless you buy in the mid-single digits. Some decent fruit and a little bit of tannin to finish a bit short.

Color: lighter garnet

Nose: Really ripe fruit, almost jammy, but still not smelling sweet, either. A touch of oak.

Palate: That fruit is here, a bit one dimensional with all of the fruit and little tannin, but it's red and black fruit and the finish has some oak. Can usually find much cheaper making this a good value every year.
