Castello di Amorosa Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2003
Region: Napa Valley, California
Winery: Castello di Amorosa
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Color: dark garnet
Nose: Tobacco, blue and red fuit on the top and then some smoke and black fruit underneath
Palate: Medium-bodied, this wine is black fruit on the bottom, supporting the red on top, but without the cherry and blue fruit that might be expected. Finish is also a bit thinner with cocoa, this isn't a blockbuster Napa Cab, is a bit more restrained and balanced. Round tannins. Quite good.
