Castello di Amorosa Napa Valley Sangiovese 2005

Variety: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
Color: ruby
Nose: Dusty with some red fruit and cherry and oak
Palate: Medium-bodied, but still a bit fuller than many Old World Sangio's. That red fruit stays in the palate as the dominant fruit, finishes dry and with those dusty tannins and smoky oak...some floral notes, as well.
