Emerald Hills Russian River Valley Syrah 2006
Region: Russian River Valley, California
Winery: Emerald Hills
Variety: Syrah
Color: Purple-black and unfiltered, with some sediment.
Nose: A little game, tannin and depths of red fruit, raspberry.
Palate: Full-body, round tannin, good oak and more red fruit with some cherry on the finish. Surprisingly balanced and integrated for such a young wine.
