Color: Inky purple

Nose: Big filling aromas of black and blue fruit with great minerality and Carmel dusty tannins. Finishes with a little bit of smoke from the good oak.

Palate: Very, very good. I am running out of accolades to give the wines that Frank Melicia and family produce for Parsonage. Wonderfully restrained fruit that could be bursting out if they allowed it due to their great vineyards, but they realize the elegance that this wine can posses and keep it in good balance but with amazing depth. Black and blue fruit, white pepper, some mint and elements of that great Carmel terroir, with dusty tannins and dirt along with cool minerality and slate. Wonderful.
