Beautiful, complex nose of cherry and fruits. Thin body (somewhat of a surprise), but with deep, warm color typical of Pommerol. It's the taste that disappoints. You just keep on waiting for the taste to thicken, diversify and develop, but nothing much happens. Chateau Garraud has a dryness that persists too long and leaves no place for aftertaste, lenght or roundness and it's saddening for a wine of that price. It should have a price tag of 12-14$ as, to me, it is no more than table wine.
